This is a new pair, of Men’s Classic “Naked Leather” Chaps. These are designed to not just look great, but are very functional to help protect the legs from bugs, cold wind, rocks and other small debris encountered on the road. The classic design and sharp styling of these Chaps include adjustable laces, classic jean pocket, full mesh liner and original “YKK” (the best) hardware and zippers. These Chaps are made of butter soft. Milled, supple, yet extremely durable Naked Leather. “Naked” leather refers to the type, quality and the tanning process of the leather, also called Aniline in the leather trade. Aniline Leather is usually the most expensive leather because only the best cowhide is used. These Chaps should give you plenty of comfortable wear, whether for riding or casual use. NOTE: As with most chaps, the legs of these are extra long so that the wearer can customize the length at home. Put the chaps on and have someone mark the correct length for you with soapstone or chalk. Keep in mind that the legs should be marked longer that you would normally do for a’regular’ pair of pants. This is because the chaps will slightly’ride up’ as you are sitting on the bike. Just like a good carpenter, “Measure twice, cut once”. Do not cut them too short on the initial cut. If your first cut doesn’t get the legs short enough, it’s not a big deal. You can always make a second cut. It you cut them too short the first time, then you have a problem.
