Unique, one-of-a-kind vintage heavy black leather motorcycle riding jodhpurs from the 1940’s. Button fly with four buttons and a heavy duty “The Eagle Hook” at the top. Suspender buttons at front waist. Back waist is approximately 1.5 inches higher than front waist with a deep notch and adjustable tab with silver-toned buckle. Styled like a pair of man’s suspender dress pants from the 40’s. Lined in the back with a gray satin fabric. Front pockets snap shut shut and go all the way through so you can reach your pants underneath. These outside snap pockets hide a smaller slit pocket on each side with tan fabric lining below. All the snaps and buttons are intact and work. The only issue is the top snap at the lower leg on each side. The back of the snap has pulled through the leather but is still attached to the top of the snap on each side (see photo #9). Heavy leather has natural imperfections and grain marks. All seams are tight and intact. No holes, abrasions, rips, or odors. From my pet-free, smoke-free home. Approximate measurements measured flat on floor. Waist 15.5 inches. Length 38 inches (from top of front waist to bottom edge of leg opening). Hips 22.5 inches (measured flat at bottom of front fly). Inseam 15.5 inches (from top edge of waistband down to leg seam). Leg: 14.5 inches at widest point narrowing to 8 inches at seam below the “billow”; 6.75 inches at bottom edge. I’m a woman size 10-12 and I can actually wear them with lots of room underneath. They are still supple enough to be worn; however, I used them as a decorating piece in my vintage clothing collection. I was hoping one day to wear them when riding my dad’s 1949 HD Panhead from his high school days but he won’t part with it yet. Signature required due to high value.
